VIsa

Everyone is welcome to Brazil. The country does not impose specific restrictions on issuing visas to citizens of any country. The visa requirement can be waived for people from many countries, while for others, due to the Reciprocity Principle, established by law, some forms have to be mailed to a Brazilian consular representation for the visa to be issued. Sometimes, an interview might be necessary. Mercosul members and some other countries (as shown below) do not even require a passport; a national or state-issued Brazilian identity card is enough. Nevertheless, this piece of identification must be in good conservation state and less than five years from its issue date.
